tims55gallon Posted June 9, 2003 Share Posted June 9, 2003 I have a Six gallon Eclipse tank that I am going to be setting up this week. I have a few questions though. I don't want to use the filter that came with the eclipse, I want to run a small protein skimmer only, will this work? If so what skimmer would you recommend? Also I will be putting one 32 watt PC 50/50 bulb in it and wanting to know what is the best kit to go with. I will have about 3" to 4" crushed coral bed and about 6 pounds of live rock. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I only want to have one bubble tip anemone in the tank, nothing else due to the fact I will be trying to get my clownfish in my main tank to mate and I want somewhere to put the babies after their born. SLOreefer Posted June 9, 2003 Share Posted June 9, 2003 if you modify the back of the tank you could fit maybe a prizm skimmer on there. you can get a smartlight retro. custom sealife makes one with a sealed endcap. you cant really go wrong with that. Link to comment
