vg30et Posted February 21, 2008 Author Share Posted February 21, 2008 Well, the NC6 was a great little tank but I've decided to move things over to a Finnex 30G. The NC6 will be converted into a QT/Frag tank sometime in the near future. I was really surprised by how well the corals did under 54W PC's. Here are some of the highlights: Monti cap: Kept it's orange/red color and had some really nice growth Aussie delicate: Grew 2", several new branches and completely encrusted over the epoxy base Digi: Browned out but grew new branches, probably 1". Had some lightening in the base, possibly from the epoxy. Have since fragged and transferred under 150W MH and it's doing much better now. GSP + Shrooms: Both Grew like weeds, still have mushroom babies on other pieces of LR. Hammer: 3 heads have started to split into 6 heads Hi-Fin goby grew its signature fin. It didn't have a "hi-fin" when he started out in the tank, must've been a baby. Will try to update with some before and after growth pictures soon. Link to comment
