mry Posted June 9, 2003 Share Posted June 9, 2003 I have an aqualight 20" with the 50/50 bulbs in it as my main light and I also have an extra hood with a 18" 15 watt bulb in it with a zoomed 50/50 bulb at the front of the tank. I want to have a more blue cast and tried a 10000k bulb and did not do much (to white looking) and was wondering if the coralife actinic blue or the 20000k (both 18" 15watt )would give a bluer look? the descriptions both say they give of a blue to them but was wondering if anyone has used these and what they think would be more blue. thanks all Link to comment
bamann345 Posted June 9, 2003 Share Posted June 9, 2003 I would go with the 20k bulb. Actinic is all blue and would really make the tank any lighter...and 20k bulb is blue light, and a 10k bulb is crisp white light. Link to comment
