rperrice Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 I got a BTA a couple of days ago and I tried feeding it a small piece of fresh shrimp yesterday, but it started closing up when the shrimp touched its tentacles. Could it be the BTA is still getting used to its new environment? It seems to have settled nicely in a crevice (of course towards the back of the tank) and appears healthy. My water readings are normal. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

rperrice Posted June 8, 2003 Author Share Posted June 8, 2003 I tried to feed the BTA again and instead of brushing it with the food, I dropped a couple of small pieces (scallops this time) gently onto its tentacles and it ate them with no problem. Link to comment
