acaterino Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 Attached is a picture of one of my rocks. I was hoping somebody could tell me what type of algae this is. I'm into the third week of my cycle time and this algae seems to be starting to appear all over my LR. Link to comment
palaegic Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003 From the picture, it looks like you have a combination of a diatom bloom and a bit of brown mircoralgae. Both are completely normal portions of a cycle. It means your on the right track. You will see this growth diminish within another 2 to 3 weeks. Link to comment
