Kassun Posted June 6, 2003 Share Posted June 6, 2003 I am getting back into the hobby and would like to hear some opinons on Filtration. With my last setup I had a single PH and a HOB filter. This time around I have 2x PowerSweep 212 PH's, and I am looking at different filters. I have looked at HOB's and Canisters. I plan on having a good varity of shrooms, polyps, xenia, leathers ect.. sammy33 Posted June 6, 2003 Share Posted June 6, 2003 I like the HOB's. Definitely cheaper than cannisters. I usually run mine with no media and it is much more convenient to add media on occasion to an HOB. The AquaClear 150 seems to be a popular choice for tanks that size. Hagen also makes a surface skimmer that fits this filter. Link to comment
