sernger
This is the setup I plan on going with in my aquarium: 10G Glass Aquarium Ebo Jager 50W heater Rio 50 PH and Rio 90 PH 2x65 CoralLife Aqualife CF hood (some kind of hydrometer) I was thinking of getting a glass cover too so that salt crust wont' form on the lights. I am thinking of putting in live rock with live sand, and mushrooms, feather dusters, etc... for the corals. And maybe a clam, along with the cleaning crew of blood shrimps and snails, and maybe a fish. What do you guys think of it, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
WorldNation
well, jsut make sure to cycle the tnak for 4 weeks min. before u add any corals or fish in. get your 15-20lbs of LR, your 20lbs of ls, and hook everything up, than let the sucker run for 4 weeks. and test your water at least once a week. after that, you cna add some hardy corals, like shrroms, polyps, and zoos. clams are a "bit" harder to take care of and need specific care to kepe them healthy Link to comment
Acoustic
I wouldn't get blood shrimps. They are really shy and finicky and you will barely ever see them. Link to comment
jdsabin1
I'd hold off on the clam until everything is well established also. Normally you will want to dose with phyto with a clam and that can murk up an unestablished tank really fast. Link to comment
