KamDesai
I just started my tank a few days ago and ammonia, nitrites are both still zero. I am cycling with just 20lbs LR and 20lbs of LS in a 12 gallon tank. I just tested KH today for the first time and it told me it was 12dh. Is this too high or low for my tank? I used Safeway Brand DI/RO water to fill the tank. If it is too high/low, what do I need to do to fix it? Thanks for the help! Link to comment
Physh1
12 is fine. Usually anything between 12-14 is good. When it's time to "buffer" the level up your going to want an alkalinity buffer. Personally I use seachem reef builder. Cameron Link to comment
