BIGBOB
I recently got 2 soft corals; 1 colt last monday, and a toadstool leather yesterday. All of my lps and shrooms anemones ect. are doing fine....but these two softies arn't looking so great. The colt hasn't opened its polyps since i got it, and the toadstool is leaning all the way over and the crown of it is touching the ground. Only a couple polyps around the edge have opened on this. any suggestions? Link to comment
matteo_gugliotta
Be patience and wait. It can takes up to two weeks for the toadstool to recover from a move. They are very hard and sure will recover. Link to comment
kennerd
I had a colt that was unhappy for about 6 months until it started opening up and gre like mad once it did. Ditto on the leather. Once it perks up, if it starts to get a weird shiny, almost plastic coating on it, don't freak. Leathers form this mucus covering to gather up gunk that has accumulated on their surfaces, and then the mucus will wash away with the crap. Kinda like a facial. Link to comment
