memphisdank Posted June 2, 2003 Share Posted June 2, 2003 hello. i am starting a five gallon hex and i am using the biowheel filter right now but i would like to have a protien skimmer to but there is no room to do this... so my question is does any body know what i can do to keep this little booger going strong or what i can use.. any info would help Link to comment
Raise Posted June 2, 2003 Share Posted June 2, 2003 first off, remove the bio-wheel. What sorts of livestock are you keeping? Hopefully no more than 1 fish and with that light a load you dont really need a skimmer. Link to comment
