Physh1 Posted May 31, 2003 Share Posted May 31, 2003 I think you'll be fine. I've got some 250's around 10" inches off the surface on my larger tanks and haven't had any issues. I did have to redirect some of my current to keep the surface aggitation down a bit. The only reason I would use one is if the temp starts to get too high or uncontrolable.... Cameron Link to comment
