Jackson
Hey all A few weeks back i mentioned about my bosses 10 gallon tank that i was thinking about having. And Yup i've got it now. Its wooden with a glass panel in the front. The woodworks very nice and detailed too. But anyway... He forgot to tell me it had undergravel filtration. So what i might do is buy a Fluval 104 external filter (100gph) and hook it up so its running reverse flow undergravel filtration. Any comments on that? 100gph too much? Reverse flow undergravel filtration bad? Im still no sure on lighting... Jackson Link to comment
onthefly
I did the same thing 5 years ago when I first got into the hobby (because some book said too!). They are simply NO3 sumps! Mine got as high as 100ppm. After I took it out and added a plenum/dsb.....their under 5ppm w/o regular w/c's Remove the RFUF if you can, otherwise, cover it with LS or oolite and call it a day! Jackson
Yeah, its not running RFUF at the moment, i was thinking about adapting it to do that. Should i use a Fluval 104? i could have it running normally in the tank. Also i could have standard UGF running aswell as the Fluval, or shall i just leave the UGF out of it? Link to comment
