channah
Hello all...I was wondering what sort of lighting conditions grape caulerpa and halimeda need. I made sort of a "in-tank" fuge for my fish only to experiment with, but just have 2 40W NO bulbs. Will that be suffiecient? Link to comment
Brooklyn Johnny
I have 2 20" 15 watt NO bulbs over my kitchen fuge and the macro does it's job, growing and uptaking nutrients. I prefer the "plant" bulbs which are more towards the red end of the spectrum. I bought them at Wal-mart for about $6 a piece. It doesn't need too much... Johnny Link to comment
Reefy
I have macro algae under 8w of NO lighting under a 20 gallon hex! And it's very healthy and grows slowly. Hardy species. Link to comment
