Do I need to bring my SG down?

1.025-.026. My corals seem to do best at this SG. Higher and they don't open up as big. Add some fresh RO/DI water in small increments over a period of several hours and test your SG. Take some water out of the tank if you have to, to accomodate the fresh RO/DI. If there are already tank inhabitants, be sure to do this slowly as some inhabitants are very sensitive to salinity fluctuations. HTH

Too High.

Max SG should be 1.026, that is the natural specific gravity of the ocean. I would do a small WC with fresh water. Might have to do a couple, but do them slowly....
