TheUnfocusedOne
i have some shells left over from dead fresh water tank that i think are pretty cool and i might wanna add them as new shells for hermits in a while. some of the dead snails are in there, so any tips to get em out is helpfull. is this a good idea in general? im not completely sure of the chemical composition of the freshwater snails vs saltwater. i donno if the saltwater will deterioate the freshwater shells so any help on this would be great. thanks alot! WilD
You can try boiling the shells for a little while to get the tissue out. I think they should work fine if you clena them thoroughly. Link to comment
