Trag
Hey All, I have an Aqua FX 5 Stage (Mako) RO/DI Water Purifier. I also have a 40 gallon Storage Container (built in float valve). I cant decide what the best way is to connect the supply line... My objective is to always have 40 gallons of RO/DI water without having to open/close the supply line. Can someone tell me how to go about doing this? And what equipment I will need thnx Link to comment
Fant
You need a connection for the feed line, a connection for the drain line, and an auto shut-off assembly. Link to comment
Trag
When u say auto shut off assembly, do u mean Solenoid? Or can u point me in the direction of an auto shut off assembly? thnx Link to comment
Raise
Solenoid. Run the RO to your top off bucket, into a float valve. That fill with 40g. Depending on your setup the following steps can differ. If you are using a pump and float switch: Put the pump for your float switch in your top off bucket and you're jammng If you have a sump: You can add a float valve into your sump. Run airline/id tubing from your top off bucket to the float valve. I think that basically covers it, but yes youll need a solenoid for auto action. Link to comment
reefphreak
The best way to connect your supply line is to a cold water copper pipe under the kitchen sink or wherever you want to put it. You need to get a pipe piercing fitting if you don't already have one. Any questions you can e-mail me @ Reefphreak@attbi.com Link to comment
