Argent
My poor pompom - spotted him the other night. Looks like he got too close to Boris and Natasha (mantis shrimps) or my pistol - (note the hole in the carapace and the missing back legs) he seems fine though - always out cheering for the home team. Jamie
Sad! Thw legs should be fine. The hole in the shell is what worries me . Hope he pulls though! Link to comment
circusordie16
do you keep him in the same tank as the mantises? what stops them from eating him? Link to comment
masterbuilder
My question too....Its a miracle the pom pom has made it this long...mantis food fur sure. Link to comment
Argent
because you all have this fantasy that all Mantis Shrimp are 4+ inches big and vicious snall and crab slayers.... Boris and Natasha are no more than 2" big - Boris never leaves his cave and Natasha always hides in her rock. its quite the exotic collection of critters in my tank Link to comment
c est ma
I still think you should consider this the handwriting on the wall, though... I once had a baby snapping turtle who lived quite happily with a large snail for quite a while--until he ate it. BTW, what have you been feeding B & N? --Diane Link to comment
