Hey,

My tank has just finished cycleing and I now have a very bad brown algae break out. I am ordering a shipment off the internet in about two weeks and did not want to buy anything else and just buy with that shipment because I will be cheaper then. It is growing very fast all over my glass, rocks and sand. What do I need to do and can I wait until then to get extra help to my 2 cerith sails and 4 blue leg hermits and 3 bumble bee snails?

Is this bad?

What causes it?

What do I need to get in 2 weeks with my order that will do the best for my tank to fight this in the future?

I have a 10 gallon tank.

Thanks everyone,

Nicholas

Thanks, I am glad that there is nothing wrong and that it is part of the process.

Is it ok for me to just scrap it off the glass and stir the sand a little for the next two weeks and then get something else to eat it then??

Thanks,

Nicholas
