surftaco
Look what I found in my grungy garage today! I would like to turn this into a Zoanthid and other easy coral Frag only tank. It currently has a 15w light. I need to up grade any suggestions? Also what filter should I install? Where can I get those sweet egg crates at? I'm trying to keep it on the cheap side if you know what I mean Link to comment
MDeth
sunpod! You could always retro your own MH For filter I'd use a large aquaclear filter eggcrate = HD or Lowes in the lighting section (light diffusing plastic) Link to comment

proraptor2
If you want maximum growth from zoanthids/palys use power compacts or T5's as they will grow faster.... Link to comment
epicfish
Hehe, if I were you, I'd set aside some money and then figure out EVERYTHING you'll need to setup the tank and see if it's still within your budget. I think the 96w quad PC might be the option that'll give you the most bang for your buck. Unless you go for a MH retrofit. All depends on what you wanna prop now and what you'll want to prop later on. In your situation: Lighting: Coralife 96W power-quad. (~$50-60 used) Filtration: AC110 filter modified into a fuge with a 2x9W Coralife mini-Aqualight. (~$50-60 used, including light) Heater: 50W heater in the fuge. (~$9 used) Circulation: Small powerhead in the tank for water circulation. (~$5) ~$114-$134, depending on where you get your thinks. Theoretically. Link to comment
