eklikewhoa Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 I bought a colony that was like that as well that were attached to a tonga branch. When I got it home I fragged off a few pieces for some friends and now it has spread itself out a little better and not so smushed together. Link to comment

It's because they were grown in an environment that kept their polyps size small...and then when it got into my tank, each polyp got bigger and now they all look squished. I had to do the same...frag and move them away from each other. Link to comment
