KOFP Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 A general rule is 1-1.5 pounds (about 500-750 grams) of live rock per gallon of water. I'd go for 6-8 pounds (about 3-4kg) of the stuff. For some nice beginner corals I'd recommend some zoanthids, mushrooms, and some LPS like euphyllia (frogspawn, torch, hammer). You could even try some softies like Kenya Tree or Toadstool Leather.
