I started out in sw with a 55 gallon, but made a lot of wrong moves. Well water, power filters, overfeeding, crushed coral, incompatible fish, snails that knock over corals...basically it was a catastrophe.

So, I decided to downgrade and do it right.

Actually, I developed ich in my 55g, and had to remove the fish to save them.

So they went through a rigerous 8 day QT session, and I released them to their new home.

Equipment:

29g tank

2 maxijet 1200s

This one is the favorite of all my zoos. It incidentally hasn't been open like this for about a month:

Believe it or not, these are supposed to be brown yellow and pink. Funny what being closed for a few months will do:

Xenia and Blastos doin' great!:

Still have some hair in there, but that's gotta be eating nutrients at a great rate, especially considering I'm using the 'correct' water now adays.
