pump and plumbing for current chiller on AP24?

I just purchased a current prime 1/15 chiller ($254.99 SHIPPED from petsolutions.com, great deal) for my AP 24 and was wondering what pump should i go with, i was thinking about a RIO 1400. Also, should i plumb the return line into the dispay for more flow, or back to the sump area? Also, how hard would it be to set up an external pump set up? Its getting kind of cramped in the back chambers.
