nano-paul
I miss my shimmer. I am thinking about going back to Metal halides and getting rid of my T-5's. I would let this go for $400.00 with the bulbs, 4-true actinics and 4-6500k's. Not 100% sure yet, just wondering if anyone is interested. Fixture and bulbs are 5 months old. Have all the original packaging so shipping would be a breeze. Will post pics upon request. Link to comment
Izzue
Paul...does it use a Icecap 660 ballast??? danig I just ordered a retro...its a 4 bulb for my 75 gal...but the bulbs are overdriven to 85 watts instead of 54 watts Izzue Link to comment
nano-paul
The ballasts are all internal, so whatever tek uses is what it has. Link to comment
Izzue
If it is using 2 icecaps it should be stated as Very High Output... I should receive my retro from Reef Geeks today. It also states that it overdrives the bulbs to 85 watts and extra cooling is necessary. Izzue Link to comment
