I am a college student and home is 2 hours away. I have a 10gal tank. What precautions should I take when moving my tank back and forth for breaks?

seeing as the tank is so small you might be able to lower the water level Just a little above your highest mounted coral. Drive carefully don't accelerate or break too fast. things should be ok, for a few hour drive.

i don't like sloshing tank water while driving. i'd use covered 5 gal buckets to hold water, critters and live rock for the move. also since you're moving water around, having clean water ready to go into the tank on the other side makes sense.

you need to take all the live rock and corals out of the tank and put them in buckets and then take all water you can out of the tank you can leave the sand in, dont try and move it with rock or water in the tank, a 10 gallon will break easily
