need some help

Hi Guys

 

This is my first post after lurking for about 2 months now reading all the post's and I have to say what a great site.

 

I have just started setting up my first nano and so far so good, its an eclipse system 3 , 3lbs LS, 3lbs LR, 1xRio Mini 200, 25watt heater, and 1 bookworm light with a 10,000k/act03 combo bulb and I still have the HOB with no media.

 

I just put the combo bulb in and took out the 6500k bulb, it now looks kinda like there is too much purple and not brite enough, should put in another 50/50 or put the 6500k bulb in ?

I have spare parts and ballasts so putting it in would be no problem.

I just wanted to know because my LR has tons of great stuff growing on it , one rock has a bunch of little polyps all over it and the other has something else but not sure what because its so small.

 

The only things in it are a coral banded shrimp and a mexican turbo snail both doing very well also.

 

Sorry for the long post , but I love this site and really want to be a part of it. Any other help or suggestions would be great.
