fragging noob!

so broke down a sun coral colony last night (branching) with my new set of bone cutters.

 

how do i stop the frag from flying off in some random direction?

Why use bone cutters for that? Use a disc and cut it clean??

 

Or you can bite around it with the bone cutter--kinda scoring it--and then cup the coral with one hand---snip the cutters with the other--and it should end up in your hand, no?
