caja Posted May 14, 2003 Share Posted May 14, 2003 Mushrooms are always a good starter. Button polyps, zooanthids, xenia, anthelia, all are pretty hardy and easy to keep. I'm sure there's more to list, but hey, I'll let someone else. Good luck! Link to comment

I wouldn't recomend Xenia as a starter coral, they are hit or miss with peoples tanks. Bright colored zoos will do great, fungia, lobophylia. Buy Julian Sprungs Coral quick reference guide. It is a great investment, has tons of great pics, tips on placement, lighting, feeding, agression, water flo, hardiness. Todd Link to comment
