My mind tells me that they might be almost counterproductive in a small reef style tank. For a fish-only, or heavily fish stocked tank, would seem appropriate for a sterilizer. Make sure the light is up to date, or it will effectively be useless. Hmmm... wondering if a UV has any impact on organisms like cyno. Link to comment
