Fixing Crack in Tank

Ok, long story short I'm an idiot and i cracked my new 20 gallon long. I was thinking of straight up siliconing it on both sides. It will be a turtle tank so only 3/4 filled with water. Will this work? Any other suggestions?

go get some scrap pieces of glass and silicone them on both sides covering the crack(s). its kinda risky though. might be better to just get a new tank.

You could also cut up the tank and make a smaller viable tank. Guess it depends on whether or not it's worth the risk to you.

Just bust out 25 more bucks and get a new tank. It's not worth the work and the eye sore.

PS: I had turtles once and it was more work than my reef tank. Those things are crap happy!
