adawg
I have the power compact 24G AP. Right now, keeping the air on, my tank rises to right about 81 degrees, and drops to 76 or so at night. I'd like to keep the temperature a little more stable, while also not having to run my AC as much, so I am looking at chillers. The catch, I do not know anything about them. How do they work? Which model would be best for me? Can I put it in an enclosed stand or does it have to sit out on the carpet? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!! Link to comment
pete159
The JBJ nano Arctica is the chiller for you. about $300 usd. keeps my aquapod temps at 74 Link to comment
icenine
A heater to keep tepms up around 80 would be the cheaper way to go... I run my pod in the lower 80's without issue. You can add the IAC chiller from nanocustoms (see the sponsor section)... fits under the hood and runs about 80 bucks. Link to comment
