hbogart Posted May 8, 2003 Share Posted May 8, 2003 Im new to reefing never the less saltwater fish but I have kept freshwater for years ive been reading post and books like crazy for the last year im just looking for some helpful suggestions on my setup heres what I have so far 28 gallon eurobow from perfecto (yeah the center brace sucks but o-well) ecosystem 40 h.o.b got a good deal on it 150 (I think) coralife aqualight 2x65 1 10k 1 actinic & 2-13watt desklamps from wal-mart equipped with 64k bulbs (8.00s a piece not bad I thought) d.i.y here i come digital thermometer form radio shack 13bucks (beats the little temp for 19.99 I think) now heres what im thinking of getting and need any input? ebojager 125watt 2maxijet 400s or 600s 20lb bag of aragalive indopacific black sand (has anyone tried this specific sand yet?) maybe a piccolo in my ecosystem 36lb lalo live rock from liveaquaria or the 22lb fiji cant decide so there it is, Im really interested on thoughts of liverock, substrate and what saltmix to go with, the whole salt debate is a headache im thinking I.O or Crystalseas cant decide Link to comment
