Blue legged crab's living habits???

My blue legged crab spends alot of the day in a little cave, just big enough to get his shell in. Sometimes he gets stuck trying to get out and I have to help him. Does anyone else's do this? I've read scarlet's are reef safe? are they more active?

give it some time to get useto the tank then it will be all over it

 

if you get more make sure there about the same size

i had 5 in my tank and the two big ones killed the smaller ones

 

for cleaner crew the small shrimp(camel, scarlet ect)   anemome crabs and some snails to eat the alge are good too
