Collospongia (Ear Sponge)

I have had this sponge in my tank for about a year and it's starting to take over. I know lighting and food play a big part in it's proliferation, so I limit both. I've tried to keep up with it, in fact I've even taken out most of the live rock and scrubed it clean. Now I'm seeing it come back again, and was wondering if there is a safe, and better way in dealing with this. I am considering a Nudibranch to help, but not sure if this is the right way to go. Have any of you ever encountered this? Any help, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you happen to have "Invertebrates, a quick reference guide" by Julian Sprung, it's the first sopnge in chapter two that I'm referring to.
