avalanche1201
well its 15w a gal....since its less then a gal...i dont know, give it a shot, get a cheap one and see how it works...you'll never know if you dont try, it can be an expirement.... just make sure u can keep everything stable..ATO etc etc etc edit: im gonna try some of the easier SPS w/ my 36w in a 3gal over the summer Link to comment
Izzue
Ya... Try a Idoha grape...or maybe a tricolor. Doh!!!! Izzue Link to comment
Burks
well its 15w a gal....since its less then a gal... Can I put a 7w light over a 0.5g tank and call it 14 WPG? Sure I could, but it doesn't mean much. WPG rule breaks down on small tanks and very large tanks. Link to comment
circusordie16
im gonna go with no. i have some sps under 18w but a 7w light is really really weak no matter how small the water volume is. upgrade to a 15w though and it might work with a monti. Link to comment
avalanche1201
yea, i know WPG is just a rule of thumb. In his first post though he said if not a 7w if a 10w or 15w would work...I think a 15w would work alright. People try new things on here all the time so its worth a shot Link to comment
