Good crab, or bad crab?

I've spent the last couple of evenings on the net trying to ID this guy. I'm wondering if I should be making a bottle trap? I've only observed him picking algae of the rocks but he is just wee( bout the size of a nickel). Does anybody recognize this little guy?

No, but he sure is cute!

 

Unfortunately, most crabs are reputed to be iffy around reefs, except for porcelains and pom-poms, which yours isn't. Perhaps if you trap him and can get a better pic, someone can help. There's a theory about the shape of the main claws and the desirability of the crab...
