eculuke Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 I bought a Fission Skimmer, and it seems to be alittle too big for my 3 gallon. Can I use the included submersible pump as a power head? Isnt it pretty much the same thing? As it is pretty small by itself? Thanks Luke Link to comment
Matty1124 Posted May 7, 2007 Share Posted May 7, 2007 i guess ill add on to what fishstick said.... hahaha anyway yes you can use it as a power head in your tank... it uses suction to get air into it so if you just leave the hose part that runs to the surface off it you will be fine... i think it would be great in a 3g since the pump is only rated for something like 80gph Link to comment
