Tiny Sea Apple

I have what i believe is a Tiny Sea Apple hitchhiking on a very small piece of LR under a small colony of zoos. Currently he is in a 2.5 gal reef. I also have a BC 29. What should i do with him, it seems to eat DT's live phyto and has grown significantly in the past few weeks since i found him, but i know they get big and i dont know much about them. Any suggestions?

i believe they are the ones that give sea cucumbers a bad name. However, I think a tiny hitchhiker is not going to do any harm, just make sure you are running carbon and a protein skimmer. I have a yellow sea cuke (not as temperamental) and he is really a fascinating and color specimen to have in a nano. He attached himself to my clam's shell and both filter feeders seem to enjoy each other's company! It's very cool.

If he gets bigger and you want to keep him I would suggest feeding live phytoplankton on a daily basis. They don't eat anything larger than that and can starve easily in a smaller tank.
