UCLA.irie
Two of my three nassarius snails, i think they are tonga, they are large and white picture here: http://reefhotspot.com/store/product_info....roducts_id=1454 have developed brown spots on their probiscus and foot. One was upside down out of the sand when I came home today, I thought it was dead. I turned it around, and it layed stiffly, but I could tell it was hanging on. Soon it burrowed half into the sand. What could be wrong? My parameters seem normal. I've been feeding them little fish pellets... should it be something else?? Link to comment
fraggle rockette
idk but my nass's bury themselves completely and have varied foot colors... any pics? Link to comment
DRoy1124
ut oh. if they have a speckled feeler, i think that means that they are WHELKS! whelks = killer snails that eat meat = eat shrimp/fish in tank = pwned. I'd toss them out ur window :-) lol just keep a close eye on them. Link to comment
UCLA.irie
The one that was upside down has barely moved in the past few days nor buried itself completely. It seems close to death :-(. I will post pics as soon as I can, but thanks for your help so far. btw definitely not a whelk... it is a super nassarius snail. Link to comment
