acryliccity fuge question

I got one of these off ebay and put it on my 10g

I am getting bubbles in the main tank from the outflow

anybody else have this problem?

How can I fix it?

replace the inner refugium bulkhead with a 1" threaded elbow, raising the water level, creating a vaccuum and then add a 1" push on elbow onto the tube that goes in your tank....that stopped my bubbles

yeah

I added the elbow in the fuge but I didnt add the elbow in the tank so I will try that

got both the elbows on now and I still get some bubbles in the tank

I have a cpr aquafuge (very similar to fuge guy's design) and just took the part of the outflow that's inside the fuge off completely.

Then I turned the part of the outlet leading into the tank sideways, so it's barely touching the water surface.

 

It's like an hob filter overflow in a way, now, breaking the water surface a little.

 

Works very well for me.
