looking for a crab (info)

i seen it once at a lfs and it was just sitting in the curent with its claws up and they looked like fether dusters just try to catch a meal can someone name it for me

Porcelain crab. One of the few completely reef safe crabs. Its a filter feeder.

why arent they good for your setup? they're amazign inverts, i've got two but wish i had tons more.

oh ya I was reading up on the wrong crab that was the porcelain anenome crab they seemed to like to live with anenomes. But the porcelain crab seems to be ok.

Haha, I wouldn't go that far, I just read a lot and have a good bit of experience.

anenome crabs are really cool too, i believe they are close relatives, they dont NEED an anenome, much like clowns they find replacement hosts or nothing at all. I've seen many in other corals, most in GSP.
