B16A2NR
As I posted earlier I just built a custom 10 gallon canopy with 83 Watts of light, I am currently using a glass cover that is collecting quite a bit of condensation, I was wondering what are the pros and cons of running without a glass top? Will my lights be more likely to short out without a glass top? Todd Link to comment
coralreefengr
We run our system with a glass top. We only remove it in the peak of summer to increase evaporative cooling. Our canopy is also rather open on top and we're running a fan, so condensation is not an issue. If you could remove the glass after the lights go out and check the condensation before the lights come on, you could sidetrack any catastrophe if you do get condensation. Link to comment
