Hardware:

- 10 gal tank

- 1 6400k 36w power compact

- 1 actinic blue 36w power compact

- 1 Prism skimmer

- 1 hang on back "sandman" filter thingy

- 1 new heater to replace the one that fubared my tank twice...

Livestock:

- 6 hermit crabs

- 5 snails (various types)

- 12lbs of live sand

- 6lbs of live rock

- 1 hairy mushroom

- one colony of button polyps

- 6 feather dusters that hitched a ride in the live rock

- misalanious small critters in the sand and things

- one cool looking worm that I can't figure out what it is

rip livestock: because of said heater:(

- one fish

- 10 snails

- 4 hermit crabs

"retired" hardware:

- 1 actinic florescent bulb

- 1 DIY power compact floodlight light

- 1 broken heater that caused me to be really ####ed at myself.

(It's hard to stop being mad when you can't get away from

the person that your ####ed at ;))

I've had the tank up about a year and it's been stable

with the exception of the heater incedents. Once I thought

it was from user error but in reality it turns out it was a

crappy heater...very crappy, ruined my day twice.

So hopefully with the heater replaced and things stableized

I'll have no more problems (knock on wood...)

I started slow for a couple reasons 1)this being my first

tank 2) money reasons :| but things are going well! I just

got my new hood and lights set up and I'm psyched to start

getting coral now! All in all this is coming together nicely for me.
