brobak Posted April 17, 2003 Author Share Posted April 17, 2003 Well, the ability of the returns in each of the tanks that will be attached to the sump are the limiting factor. I can only return about 600ghp from each tank to the sump. There will be 3 tanks eventually connected to the sump, so a pump of around 1800g at head seems to be about the limit. There is no other reason for having the return to the sump be slow. The copperband hasnt caused any problems, other than the fact that I have zero worms/dusters in the tank now. Link to comment
