How are you guys dosing?

What are you guys using to dose calcium for sps? Is anybody using a reactor or a dosing machine?

I use a 5 gallon jug that I dose Kalk out of. It has a water pump attached to the top thats set-up to a float switch.

if you got the cash, the best means of dosing is definitely through some sort of dosing pump. do search for spectrapure's "litermeter III"

Yeah I've heard theyre real cheap- like $60 cheap

 

And does anybody know if peristaltic pumps are affected by head pressure? Cause I need one to pump up to at least 6'.... Which is prety high up

The best thing i think for adding calcium and alkalinity( and other trace elements) would have to be aragamilk. I swear by it dude its an all natural solution that is safe for fish and once you find out how much you need to put keeps your calcium right at 450 and alkalinity perfect.
