I just went to my LFS and they told me that I can use "Liquid Calcium" instead...All I have to do is put 1/4 teaspoon of it everyday in my 30 gallon tank......Is he right??? or should I just do a Kalk drip in the evenings???? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

yeah hes right. You can use B-Ionic or sechem or what ever other 2 part systems there is. I dose B-Ionic in the morning every other day in my nano

Using two part calcium addatives is probably safer than dripping kalk into your nano reef too. That's not to say kalk won't work, but adding proper amounts is more difficult, and the small volume of a nano reef doesn't provide for much error.

I love B-Ionic. I used it on my old reef. EXTREME coralline growth. I use it on my new nano. After only 5 weeks or so of being up, the powerhead, side and back glass are covered in specs of coralline.

I love products with extreme in the name. Maybe they should rename B-Ionic. EXTREME Calcium/Alkalinity supplement? :P
