lighting Q.

I was thinking of getting a 96w PC lighting setup for a standard 10g tank I have sitting around. what kind of things will I be able to put in there? will it be enough for clams and pretty much anything? will it be to much for other things like polyps?

I don't know what it'll be too much for, but it should be more than enough for all the common light-loving animals (SPS, clams, anemones, etc.).

If there's a problem with too much light, you can always make more shady spots with your rockwork. In my experience, though, almost any species can tolerate the bright light, if acclimated to it over a period of weeks.
