vlapinta
My husband's ocelleris clown developed a whiteish growth on it's eyes. What could this be and how do you treat this? He needs something that is reef safe. Vicki Link to comment
clifford513
Is it a growth or just a haze? My maroon clown once developed a white haze on its eyes. I did a couple of water changes and it cleared on it's own. Make sure you aren't overfeeding the tank and check your parameters. Has it been nuzzling any new corals? Has it been caught in a net or stressed by another inhabitant? Link to comment
Buddyboy
Could be clownfish disease (brook). Just keep the water clean and feed vitamin soaked food. It should clear up after a while. My clown had the same thing when I got it. Looked pretty grim for a while, but it cleared up. Link to comment

blooper74
Alternate your foods and the vitamin balance will return. Useing one food can sometimes cause issues with clown fish because of their nutritional needs (as well as all other fish). I had this happen one time and when I started switching foods around it cleared right up. Link to comment
