zachxlutz
Should I add my CUC based on 53 gallons total water volume or 33 gallons of my display tank? I'm going to order my CUC from etropicals and I'm wondering if I should get a mix of 35 or so snails or 50 or so? Any Ideas? Link to comment
circusordie16
i could be wrong but id go with the gallons of display because you probably wont care about keeping the rest clean and you probably wont put any members of your crew into anything but the display. Link to comment
djchristone
why from etropicals? you might as well as do liveaquaria and get the discounts instead Link to comment
dshnarw
I'd get the smaller deal for now, and add more if you need them later. It's much better to have a few algae spots that they haven't touched than to have to many and they starve/die/pollute the tank. As for the amount, its mainly a function of bioload - if you have a lot of fish, etc. producing waste, you'll need more CUC to keep up with the algae that would be produced. Link to comment
jrbear5658
I always order more then the suggested amount (the next size up) and a few hermints in sump) Link to comment
