civicsit
Yesterday I thought that my emerald was dead. He was attached to a rock out in the open and wasn't moving. I poked him with baster to make sure, and it didn't move. It still kinda worried me because it was attached so well that it took me a little to get it out. It sucked because my emerald was helping me get control of my bubble algae and not touching my corals. I came home tonight and got kinda freaked out for a second. Sitting on the same rock I took my emerald off was, my emerald crab, alive and eating. I thought it was dead, and there it was! So apparently it just molted. It was the first time it molted, and I was actually wondering when it was going to. I thought it was weird that it died since it seemed to be eating well. It is a lot bigger now and is a little lighter green. I am amazed at how much it grew. So just a little experience for anyone who hasn't had their emerald molt. Link to comment
